The 6th Annual Reunion of the ’50s Boys and The 60th Anniversary of the First Surrey NABS Cross-Country Championship held on May 1954 will be held on Monday 28th April 2014, at The Orchard Pub, Cherry Orchard Road, East Croydon, at 12 noon. For those who want to eat there is a menu.
It is 60 years this May since the first ever Surrey NABS cross-country championship was held at Tattenham Corner. Four of the first six competitors home were members of the ’50s Boys.
To cover expenses such as postage fees etc. Mr Paul Nihill will arrange a raffle. If you have any small items you want to get rid of, please donate to the raffle.
If any of you have photographs from the last reunion or from before bring them along or let Mr Paul Nihill know.
On the missing list are: Mickey Ramsey (SPGBC); Monty Norman (Warlingham BC); Bill Pritchard (Endeavour BC). Anyone with info of these three should get in touch with Mr Paul Nihill.
Please bring along your loved ones, friends and any former athletes you may know to support this historical Anniversary; the more the merrier.
